Can you get a Master Ball in the Kanto region in Pokemon Soul Silver?
I believe you are only given one master ball in the entire game. Have your brother go to a store and buy lots of ultra balls, then go near where you get Ho-oh and save your game. After that, battle Ho-oh and lower its HP as low as you can get it with out making it faint and throw the ultra balls at it. My little sister has Heart Gold and I have Soul Silver and she found a trick that works, most of the time. (This is different than using ultra balls.) Look at the pokemon’s color. Choose the pokeball that has the same (or close to it) colors of the pokemon and throw it at the pokemon. Also, make sure that you are in a quiet room because suprisingly, the mic on the DS picks up the noises and can scare the pokemon that you’re trying to catch.
