No math is required for a lot of computer related jobs WITH degrees… it depends on what you’re looking for. There are plenty of computer customer service jobs (if they haven’t been farmed to India. Not a knock on that, just a fact) which don’t require degrees which will allow you to become familiar with a company and get known, the easiest way to get something more technical. Another way is if someone in the company/field is already a trusted employee who can vouch for your proficiency. That would help get you in the door to display your competency. Your user knowledge is key and it’s critical to continue to self educate/take classes to stay on top of this field. Not having a degree might cap your earning potential (once again, depending on actual field) however once you demonstrate you are capable it’s relatively easy to network in this field and get the type of position you are looking for.
