Can you explain the pros and cons of the “buffered” and “unbuffered” options?

The unbuffered bypass has the same problems as “true” bypass but will have slightly lower noise and higher headroom than the buffered option. Optimally, you should use a buffered-bypass pedal first in your signal chain followed by unbuffered-bypass pedals. More information can be found in the pedal’s user manual and on my page about the problem with true bypass. If you’re still unsure about which one is right for you, then use the buffered-bypass option. All my pedals are shipped with this option selected by default.
