Can you download a game onto the xbox 360 arcade without a disc or live?
You can’t play Halo 3 without paying for it legally. Even so, illegal methods are very complex and likely to screw up your system if it ever updates, I wouldn’t recommend them. Aside from that, with no disc or live, how do you plan on getting it onto the system? It has to come from somewhere! Live is free as long as you aren’t doing multiplayer gaming, but 360 games do cost $20 (I’m not even sure if Halo 3 is offered there). Copying a game to the hard drive helps loading times on SOME games (I’ve had more problems than good results myself) and requires the disc to be in the drive to play, as proof you own it. Aside from all that, the arcade doesn’t have the many gigs of storage required for such a game, it would take a hard drive to store it. The current arcade model has 256MB of memory, or 1/4 of a GB. Halo is MANY GB, and besides, Bungie (the company that makes Halo) says not to install it to the hard drive because of problems. Dunno if this is fixed, but you don’t have room for even
