Can you discuss the Chris Vondruska brand of wrestling camps?
“We have a great staff and a bunch of kids that are hungry to wrestle. Last year we were in the wrestling room with 25 kids in each session. This year we had fifty-five wrestlers in the youth session this morning. As far as the camp goes we spend two days on our feet and two days on the mat. There are four days of instruction and on the fifth day they get to wrestle in a tournament; the Long Horn Round Robin. Everyone gets a bunch of matches; they get some more experience and can try out some of things they learned. Not a whole lot of camps end like we do so it is something that makes this camp unique.” Why did you choose to hold your camp at Lutheran West HS? “My brother coaches here and I have been helping out since I was in high school. When I was younger my dad use to bring me up here all the time and he has been helping out here for ten years.
