Sudhir Mehta will be managing director of the company and Dr Georg Pachta-Rey-hofen will be a Force Motors nominee director, although he is a member of the executive board of MAN Nutzfahrzeuge. There will be a lot of out-sourcing -we are not going to be too vertically integrated at the Pithampur plant. This will be a ‘white’ factory which means not too many people. The di-integration of the JV will find reflection in Force Motors, too, since we want to rationalise for quality. We are setting up a large training center at the plant. This will train drivers, mechanics and dealers, based on a curriculam specially developed by MAN. A separate dealer network for the MAN Force trucks is being created. We expect to have 25 across the country by December, and only four of our existing dealers have made the grade. Yes, some of these dealers were earlier with competitors.
