Can you configure the Dual Shock 2 such that one thumbstick is used for steering and the other for throttle and braking?
Apparently there’s a misconception about this due to the default settings stemming from quick sessions at demo kiosks. Yes, you can assign either chore to either stick. The pressure sensitive analog buttons on the Dual Shock 2 can be used to modulate the brake and gas, although it’s impossible for me to gauge just how many degrees of control are actually there. However, there is a noticeable difference when using them versus a non-pressure sensitive controller.
