Can you buy used furniture from the Disney World hotels?
If I was able to purchase furniture from any Disney World Resort It would be http://www.swandolphin.com This is the most beautiful Resort I have ever stayed in. I was so impressed with all they have to offer.
I’m not too sure about being able to buy used furniture from the actual hotel rooms, and I’m almost posative that there is no store in Disney World. But I know that there is a company has come out with disney inspired furniture from the 30s and 40s. It’s by a company called Drexel Heritage and it’s pretty expensive and is geared towards adults. There is alot of leather pieces and by looking at it, you wouldn’t think it was disney. I hope that helps a bit. I’m going to do a little more searching into the hotel furnishings for sale. Sounds interesting.
Yes, you could. But you have to look carefully. You want to look at the Disney Auction event at the parks. It’s usually held at some abandoned parking lot on Disney property. Not that many people know about it or know when it’s happening unless you are a past purchaser. But it’s not going to be cheap. Things have gone for more than a thousand dollars. Or you can go to www.ebay.com. that’s where they sold the sea serpent from Disneyland’s Submarine Ride. Most of the proceeds go to Charity… like AIDS Foundation. As for your chair, it’s a hit or miss on finding it. Disney doesn’t usually sell their items on a daily basis. Some items are just not for sale.
