Can you breastfeed whilst taking Clexane?
You absolutely can. I am the Mother of a 3 month old baby and was on Clexane injections twice a day for my entire pregnancy because it doesn’t cross the placenta and you can breastfeed while on Clexane. Ordinarily you are put onto Warfarin tablets after delivery instead of injections as they are less harsh on the body (and cheaper from a prescription perspective) but it depends whereabouts you’re from and what your Hematologist suggests.
