Can you adapt air bag suspension to a 2000lb gvw enclosed trailer?
It can be done, and perhaps your trailer’s manufacturer offers this option. Keep in mind this is more than just inserting air bags, you need to add additional components to control side-to-side movement and wobble on the air bags as well. This may require adding additional mounts that may make this unfeasible for some type trailers. Due to the lack of constant air supply, air can be only added with an outside compressor, like the air shocks on a teen’s car. If smoothing the ride is your goal, check into longer leaf springs as well.
