If there is a request by a parent for an early drop-off time, the parent can request the opening staff to come in earlier than the facility opening time. Because this will be an agreement between the parent and the opening staff, the parent directly pays the staff member a nominal fee (usually $10 for the extra half hour) for coming in earlier than her shift starts.
