Can Yogurt Really Be a Bad Breath Remedy?
It seems like yogurt has been said to help or cure so many health issues that it’s hard to keep track. I’m sure you’ve heard that yogurt helps you lose weight, improves your digestive system, and is high in calcium which helps build strong bones and teeth, and also rich in vitamin C. It has been reported to be a viable substitute source of vitamins obtained from milk for the lactose intolerant. But, have you heard that a group of Japanese microbiologists led by Dr. Kenichi Hojo from Tsrumi University in Yokahoma, Japan found that that eating yogurt regularly works very well as a bad breath remedy. The yogurt actually helps you to have fresher breath. They presented their finding to the 83rd General Session of the Association for Dental Research in Baltimore, Maryland. Their research is extremely impressive. Apparently they found that yogurt contains bacteria called Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus.
