Each city varies on whether they allow mobile storage units to be placed in the road. It is best to always check with your local Building Inspector’s office to see if they are allowed and if a permit it required. FAYETTE COUNTY NOTE: Mobile Storage units are allowed in residential zones for 30 days. Any longer requires approval from the local Building Inspector (859-258-3770).
