Can Yale students study abroad?
Absolutely. Students may participate in the Junior Year/Term Abroad and earn a full year or term of Yale College credit. Yale sponsors the Yale-in-London program for interdisciplinary studies in British art, history, and literature to which students of any major may apply. There are exchange programs, for example, with the University of Tübingen and the Free University of Berlin, and Yale is a member of the Kyoto Center for Japanese Studies consortium. Students also may enroll in a program sponsored by another American university or may enroll directly in a foreign university.
