Can WWKI stay on the air during a very severe storm?

We sure hope so…… The owners of WWKI have invested heavily in power generators, a back-up transmitter, and other standby equipment to make sure that we do. Certainly a direct hit by a tornado on our transmitter tower would shut us down, but we’re able to keep broadcasting emergency information through nearly any other severe weather situation.
