Can Wusage tell me what US state visitors are connecting from?
I’m afraid not. Some programs claim to offer this information, but they are usually basing it on the location of the ISP. This means that an enormous blob is always located in Virginia (the corporate offices of America Online), which is not really very useful information. The exception is that a few programs are part of an elaborate relationship involving at least one site that gives people something in exchange for personal data such as their location, and sets HTTP “cookies” that other participating sites can use to identify their location in the future. These programs are of course much more expensive than Wusage.
