Can WSU offices share information with a third party?

Yes. When authorizing a third party for shared information access via the web, the student may authorize WSU administrative offices to discuss information via telephone. The student assigns an authorization code to be used by the third party when calling WSU for information. Only the information authorized for web access can be discussed via telephone. Contact information: • Housing and Dining Financial Services • Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships • Office of the Registrar • Student Accounts Academic records may be released by mail via a notarized Student Release of Information form signed by the student, or by submitting the parent’s most recent federal tax return showing the student as a dependent (please block out all financial information before mailing). For either form, once completed, please mail to the Office of the Registrar.
