Can Windows Vista Install a Recovery Partition?

0

Installing Vista from the recovery partition is sometimes necessary on some Vista PCs for various reasons, including restoring the operating system after a virus infection, or to restore factory default settings, among other reasons. Windows RE, added to Vista in December 2006, consists of the Windows Recovery Environment, system restore options and the recovery partition. The recovery partition of the Windows RE uses an “image” of the Vista operating system from a date when the PC was known to run properly to “turn back the clocks” and restore the PC to this clean state.
