Can wheelchair lifts or stair lifts be installed outdoors in Minnesota?

0

YES, for private residential applications only – The current residential code adopted by Minnesota will allow units to be installed outside as long as the equipment is rated for outdoor use. Currently all commercial wheelchair lift and elevator installations must be installed in a permanent weather-tight, climate controlled enclosure.
