Can WebCT Vista notify me when I have new WebCT Vista mail?
Yes. An option exists in the WebCT Vista Mail tool which allows users to indicate an email address to which their WebCT Mail is forwarded. Messages will appear in both the WebCT Mail tool and the external e-mail account. You first need to add the destination email address to your profile in WebCT. From your myWebCT page select My Settings from the top right hand corner. If you cannot see My Settings then click on myWebCT and then click on MySettings. You will then see three tabs named My Profile, My Tool Options and My Roles. image of tabs • On the My Profile tab select Edit Profile. • Enter your email address into the E-mail box and then select Save. • Now you need to select the My Tool Options tab. • Scroll down to the Mail Section and check the box alongside Forward all mail messages to the e-mail address in my profile and then select Save.
