Yes, the Department will accept TOPS via tops in lieu of wire transfers. Please be aware that in order to avoid penalties for late payment the TOPS payment must be submitted before 12:00 noon Alaska Standard Time of the due date. Payments submitted through TOPS after that time will be considered paid on the settlement date. Late payment penalties and interest will apply to payments submitted after 12:00 noon Alaska Standard Time on the due date of the payment.
