Can we use the same Zaky with different babies?
We do not recommend it. For safety reasons we do not recommend that the same Zaky be used with different babies. The Zaky was designed to be a personal item that the baby will get used to (scent, weight, feel, etc) and that will help with the transition from the hospital to the house. To facilitate this, the Zaky has a place on the label for the name of the baby. A permanent marker can also be used to write the name of the baby across the washing bag to ensure that the Zakys go to the original baby. However, some hospitals “recycle” the Zakys after washing them, just as they do with towels and other positioning items so they do not keep track of what Zaky goes with each baby. Needless to say, if the Zaky is not clean it should not be shared.
