Can we use ClearSync to share resources locally on our PC without synchronizing through the Internet-based ClearSync Server?
The current ClearSync service and handheld, desktop, & web-based applications are designed for you to share calendar and contact resources with others any time you want to, from practically anywhere in the world, simply by synchronizing with the Internet-based ClearSync Server from your computer or directly from wireless-enabled PDA / smartphone. However, we are looking at possibly making a ClearSync Server product available for use behind a firewall for companies and organizations that want the information their employees / staff / members share with one another to be restricted to their internal networks.
