Diskgroup Cloning is not supported on the same host using BCV. You have no other option to use except RMAN DUPLICATE. You can find more detail on BCV and ASM in below whitepaper http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/asm/pdf/asm-on-emc-5_3.
