Can we use a JVM different from Suns JVM 1.6, 1.5 or 1.4 ?

JBlitz 5.x has been developed and tested against the 1.4.2, 1.5.0 and 1.6.0 JVMs from Sun Microsystems. JBlitz requires the use of at least a 1.4 compatible JVM. This is because it uses many of the advanced APIs and features offered by the 1.4 JVM. The use of another vendor’s JVM is not necessarily precluded so long as it supports at least the same APIs and features as Sun’s 1.4.2 JVM.
