Can we use 25-volt type speakers instead of 45 ohm?
Personally I using GBL 70-TY model speakers. They works pretty well for me, but to be honest, I’m not really good at electronics, I bought these ones based on advice and information from the website that specializes with recommendations where was very usefull for mer information about sound systems, speakers, microphones in general and by the models as well. By using the 5110-903(X) or 5120-903(X) systems 25-volt speakers may be directly connected to the communications system. This allows an easy to install, cost effective direct replacement for existing 25 Volt systems. Due to the inherent frequency limitations of inexpensive transformers that are found on these speakers, Valcom recommends the use of 45-ohm speakers. Also, the 45-ohm voice coil performs better when in the talkback (intercom) mode.
