You can add a sales prospect to any customer and then rate the prospect with these six main points: How likely are they to order: Minimal, Slight, Possible, Maybe, Likely, Probable, Promised. Where in the sales process are they: Initial contact, exploring, comparing, near decision. How did they hear about us: Create a list of all your advertising channels so you can measure their effectiveness. Which competitors are you working against: Create a list of your main competitors to track when you win or loss the orders and to whom. When are they like to place order: Set a date when you expect them to make a decision. Notes to track how this prospect advances towards an order. All this information allows you to track your sales effectiveness for the company and individual sales people. In addition, you can have Dashboards showing you a matrix of all the prospects and estimating future order volume.
