Can we submit SOPs that contain expired approval/effective dates if we are in the process of updating SOPs?
No. Each SOP to be submitted with the project QAPP should be current throughout the effective duration of the project or task that it was intended for. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure that all sampling, analysis, and field procedures that will be used in the project are documented in current SOPs that are referenced in the QAPP.
