Can we stay at a hotel or is there gonna be a problem?

It depends on what kind of hotel you are staying at. Most hotels you are supposed to tell the front desk how many people will be in the room. There is usually a very small fee for more than two people. If you don’t let them know and you request more towels or room service they will probably find out anyway. You should call the hotel before you get there to ensure that you are old enough to rent the room. Some hotels require the main person on the room to be 21. If that is the case then you would need to have a parent sign a waiver and the hotel would keep the parents credit card on file for incidentals.

just about everywhere requires you to be 21 years old to rent a hotel room. My hubby and I were married with a baby at 19 years old, moved across country, and during the trip we ended up sleeping in our car because no one would give us a room. FINALLY, we found this seedy, foreigner-owned Econolodge that gave us a room but even they held credit card info in case we trashed the room! The place was so bad we showered and left! Make sure you secure a place to stay BEFORE you get there, otherwise you may end up sleeping in your car like we did.
