RC: Yes. There is a difference between a sponsor and paid advertising. The brands under FLW would be the official sponsors of you state and you cant have another official sponsor in that category. But you can have paid advertising from whomever. For example, your newsletter has an ad for Mercury which says “proud sponsor of Missouri BASS Federation”. That doesnt mean that you cant sell an ad to Yamaha in the same publication. One is a sponsor and the other is paid advertising. You just have to be clear about that in your publication. How long do we have before we have to vote on going with BASS or TBF? RC: We bind our insurance on January 30th, within two weeks of that we have to send in rosters of who is to be covered under the policy.
