Can we plan to evacuate to The Ike RV area in case of another hurricane?

The City of West Monroe was pleased to offer assistance during hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In another similar disaster we would again jump to assist our southern neighbors. However, The Ike is not a designated evacuation center so each emergency must be individually evaluated.
