Can we pay by Credit/Debit Card or Travelers’ Cheques?
We advise you not to use Travelers’ cheques as they can only be cashed in the major City’s and Towns, and you will be charged a high commissions on them. You can pay in most Shops and Restaurants using your Credit/Debit Card in the main Towns, City’s and Tourist destinations, but please check first, as Bulgaria still has a big cash culture, with most day to day transactions carried out in cash. We do not accept Credit/Debit Cards for Deposits/Reservation Fees. We advise you to pay the Deposit/Reservation Fee by Bank Transfer, or you can pay by Cash during your visit should you feel this is necessary to ensure you obtain the Property of your choice. Is it possible to buy without coming to Bulgaria? Yes, this is possible, and many Investors do this when buying Off Plan, and they know the area they want to invest in. We would though advise you to come out to Bulgaria for a few days, sample the Country if you haven’t been here before, and get all the documentation signed and stamped here.
