Can we (or our customers) modify the Google PowerMeter gadget?
You can co-brand the gadget by adding your company logo with a link to your website, and you can also use the messaging feature to post messages to your customers through the Google PowerMeter gadget (such as notifications of outages, high demand days, and so on). We are also considering plans to customize the default layout based on frequency of sampling and uploads. For example, if data is sampled once per hour and uploaded once daily, the week view is going to be more interesting than the day view, so it would make a better default view.
