Can we not consider option of stopping Transfer Students from Hutto/Pflugerville to reduce overcrowding at Blackland Prairie?
Transfer decisions are based on student enrollment at the receiving school, current transfer policy, and principal’s recommendations. These factors will be considered in 2010 with the new boundary alignment. For Sonoma community we prefer “one neighborhood one community”. Keep Blackland Prairie student count as-is. No new development expected due to economy. Recent home buyers (< 6 months) feel cheated because of high price paid for good school.
