Yes you can! The ENDEC can be set up to log all alerts to the hard drive of an external computer using the Windows HyperTerminal program. Set up is as follows: In the ENDEC menu, arrow down to and select Devices, enter. Arrow down to and select Com 5, enter. Select Device Type, enter. Arrow down to and select Serial Printer, enter. Install a null modem cable between Com 5 on the ENDEC and the computer Com port you will use. On the External computer make sure that HyperTerminal is installed as part of the Windows package. (If not, you will need to install it by selecting your My Computer icon, then Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs, go into Windows Setup, select Communications, then select HyperTerminal and follow installation instructions.) To start HyperTerminal go to Start, then Programs, then Accessories, then Communications and finally HyperTerminal. Select the Hypertrm.exe to create a HyperTerminal routine.
