Can we just identify a 2nd authorizer in the AO office and skip the 1st authorizer? Does requester have to have the 1st authorizer role also if we want to go to the 2nd authorizer directly?
Yes, if you wish to use the 5-step process, you may skip the 1st Authorizer if it is not needed. The Requester does NOT have to have the 1st Authorizer role in order to skip this role. If the Requester changes the PAR status to “1st” and saves the action, it will be routed to the 2nd Authorizer’s worklist – thereby skipping the 1st Authorizer. The Requester is able to change the PAR Status to “REQ”, “1st”, or “2nd”.
