Can we choose how late the band or disco music finishes?
We are contracted to finish our last set by 12.30am at the latest and are usually happy to leave disco music running afterwards whilst we pack away. However most hotels and other venues will definitely have a predetermined time when they will expect any live or amplified disco music to finish by. Check with your venue and make sure they have made you fully aware of their particular finish time. We can then plan the live sets and disco music to fit around this cut of point. If there is to be an evening buffet it also makes sense to arrange the two live sets of live music around this. Also check with the venue to see if they have any volume limiting or timed power cut off equipment installed in their function room. Sudden power failure to the whole of our sound and lighting equipment in one go can cause serious damage to it and lead to costly repair bills. It is also fairly disruptive and embarrassing for your guests if everything suddenly stops… just as they’ve plucked up the courage
