Can we camp without electricity, water, and/or sewer hook-ups?

Yes, you can camp without electricity, water, and/or sewer hook-ups (also known as “boondocking”), however, full hook-ups are preferred, and highly recommended. Malfunctions with appliances and trailer systems can easily occur while boondocking due to a low battery status and limited water and propane supplies. Water and power are limited to what is on board. We do NOT provide a back-up power source (generator.) The trailer has a propane powered refrigerator, freezer and stove. The iPod compatible CD player/receiver operates on battery power (when not hooked up to electricity.) Convenience items such as the A/C, heater, and microwave are powered by electricity are only available with an electricity hook-up. When boondocking, we encourage you to conserve the trailer’s energy and water resources by using the facilities available at the campground whenever possible. Important note regarding boondocking: Santa Barbara Silver Safari is not responsible for any malfunctions of the vehicle wha
