Can we access internet on an aeroplane while flying?
Not yet, there was internet available called Connexion by Boeing that was discontinued at the end of 2006, this was the service offered by Lufthansa and Singapore among a few others. Some time this year many airlines will start offering internet again, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines will be the first airlines to have it in the US, jetBlue offers access to Yahoo e-mail and instant messaging on certain aircraft, but you cannot surf the internet. Not right now, but sometime in the near future you will be able to access the internet while flying, and don’t expect it to be inexpensive.
