Can Walt Disney sue their child actors?
Anybody can sue anybody (whether the court will rule in favor of the suit is not guaranteed). Actors are sometimes sued for breach of contract. If you agree to do a movie, for example, and you receive an advance payment, but then you don’t show up on set for filming, that is breach of contract. Child actors do not actually sign contracts, as minors, but their parents can enter into contracts on their behalf, and those contracts are still enforceable.
