Yes! USA Fit Bend welcomes walkers who would like to participate in the Portland Marathon or Pacific Crest Half Marathon.

Walkers are welcome! We have a wonderful walking program that will enable you to complete the Rock N Roll Marathon. Please be aware, however, that the Rock N Roll Marathon requires all participants to complete the course within five and one half hours (which requires a 12:30 per mile or better pace). Many Phoenix Fit walkers may choose to train for a half marathon instead, or choose a different, more walker-friendly marathon.

Please be aware, however, that the Houston Marathon requires all participants to complete the course within five and one half hours (which requires a 12:30 per mile or better pace). Many Champions Fit walkers may choose to train for a half marathon instead, or choose a different, more walker-friendly marathon.

Walkers are ALWAYS welcome! We have a wonderful walking program that will enable you to complete a full marathon or the Atlanta Half-Marathon or Silver Comet Half Marathon right here on the beautiful Silver Comet Trail. MANY of our returning athletes have graduated from our walking program into one of our pace based running groups! Please note that our walking groups are not leisurely weekend strolls. These groups will improve your abilities, make you fast enough to complete a marathon within the time limits of the course and provide a good aerobic workout for all. You should be able to walk a 20 minute per mile pace for 3 miles prior to joining. a Your coaches can provide more details.

Please be aware, however, that the Gasparilla Marathon requires all participants to complete the course within seven & a half hours (which requires a 14:00 min per mile or better pace). For that reason, our Tampa Bay Fit walkering program focuses on training for a half marathon instead; some walkers do choose a different, more walker-friendly marathon.
