Can Waldorf kids participate in sports or other community activities?
• Yes. For instance, we have a girls basketball team that plays in the Corvallis Park and Rec basketball program. Many Waldorf kids play in the AYSO soccer league. There are Waldorf parents coaching in both leagues. Body movement, learning new skills, and working together with peers are all Waldorf values. Keeping competition friendly, non-personal and positive is key.
