Can VISSIM illustrate passengers alighting/boarding trains or buses?
Yes, this is possible with the optional pedestrian module (from VISSIM version 5.20). As an alternative (without the pedestrian module), VISSIM can keep track of passenger flows for each transit line and stop (without visualizing them) in order to compute the dwell times of the train/bus at a stop for realistic public transport operation.
