Can viruses be eradicated?
So many viruses,worms and trojans are being created every day and their total number is so high that I won’t tell it because it will be different when you read this.People have asked me if viruses,worms and trojans can be eradicated.The answer is both yes and no.It’s not so hard to eradicate them from a small LAN which is not connected to Internet in any way and the number of the computers in it is not so high simply using an antivirus program.It’s getting much harder if there are many computers in the network and it’s connected to the Internet.If such network is cleaned, the risk of further infection is very high even if good antivirus products with the latest updates are used for protection. But just imagine how many LANs and WANs are connected each other to make Internet and how many computers that are not part of Internet exist.If they have to be cleaned,so much resources must be used that only this makes the task impossible.Even if it was possible,if only one CD,diskette or a comp
