Can Viral Menengitis Become Bacterial?
Meningitis refers to an infection of the fluid of a person’s spinal cord and the fluid which surrounds the brain. It can either be caused by viral or by bacterial infection. Viral infection is less severe as compared to bacterial infection and the symptoms also vary. There is no significance of the theory that a viral infection can convert to a bacterial infection. However, it might happen that a person infected with a viral meningitis get Bacterial meningitis.
