Can Veterans receive Social Security benefits & V.A. Non-Service connected pension at the same time?

All income, earned and unearned is countable income with the VA. If the monthly Social Security benefits are less than the VA pension limit, than it is possible that the veteran will be eligible for the difference in a monthly pension. ALL income must be reported to the VA as it is reduced from the non-service-connected pension, dollar for dollar.
