Close coupled VIL units (Armstrong Series 4360 & 4380 only) may be mounted with the shaft in the horizontal position, up to and including 15 hp. Series 4300 and dualArm units must be installed with vertical shafts, in the upright position. (Motors on top) Series 4380 over 15 hp must be checked with the Applications Group.
