The software provided under the MSDN Academic Alliance program, including all versions of the Windows operating system, is not intended to be installed on naked PCs or to replace the end user licensing agreements that accompany and apply to such software. However, the software provided under the MSDNAA Program may be installed on a naked PC to facilitate educational or non-commercial research specific to MSDNAA program software.
