Can venlafaxine [effexor] cause “pins & needles” and bluey-purple feet when i lay down?
Ive been taking venlafaxine for 11 years now, when you first take it it can have some crazy side effects. I couldn’t pee properly, feeling dizzy, couldnt sleep and i felt “high” for about a month. If your changing dosages or just starting then expect weird side effects, if you have been on it for a while at a steady dose then you can also get side effects sometimes. With me if i don’t take it at a regular time each day then i feel dizzy and yes i have experienced pins and needle sometimes also the dizzy feeling and feeling sick. EDIT Yeah it sounds like it is caused by the medication if you have been on all those doses. I know its hard but i would reccomend trying to stay at the dose your on now and dont increase. Im trying to come off my meds and its so damn hard, even at the low dose im taking. When i decreased my meds i did it gradually and it was horrible experience, i was shaking, feeling dizzy all the time, i had bad memory etc.
