Can Venlafaxine and Desipramine be taken together?

0

It isn’t a good idea since both drugs work on seratonin. In combination they could cause seratonin syndrome which can be fatal. Venlaxafine is an SNRI and Desipramine is tryciclic. If you are taking both together your doctor needs to keep a close eye.
